A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day
No two days are alike, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assist in preparing and cooking daily meals for colleagues in line with menus and schedules.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
- Support the Chef de Partie in buffet preparation, portion control, and food presentation.
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored, rotated, and handled.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the colleagues’ kitchen.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Take on additional tasks as required, showing flexibility and teamwork.
What We Need from You
- At least 1 year of experience as a Commis in a 5 star hotel.
- Good knowledge of cooking different dishes, particularly Indian cuisine
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
