Qualifications:
- Civil Engineer specialized in public transport systems and network planning.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in GCC countries.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Job Description:
- Provide technical support for transport projects through studies, analyses, and preparation of specifications and regulations required for public transport projects.
- Analyze public transport data and develop programs and systems for improvement according to best international standards.
- Review topics referred by the department director and assess the economic feasibility of related projects.
- Design public transport networks, identify optimal network options, and continuously analyze data to enhance the networks.
- Continuously update public transport system data and support database management.
- Manage public transport system projects and assist in preparing terms of reference for new projects.
- Supervise consultants, partners, and contractors daily, evaluate their performance, monitor project deliverables, and prepare periodic reports.
- Experience in projects related to the transition to clean energy in transportation, providing technical support as needed.
