Overview of position
Our client is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration & works closely with governmental, intergovernmental & non-governmental partners. Our Client is dedicated to promoting humane & orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services & advice to governments & migrants.
Role objectives
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in the county, in close coordination with the Deputy Chief of Mission & the Senior Resources Management Officer (SRMO) on administrative & financial matters. The successful candidate will be responsible & accountable for the development, management &  implementation of project activities on all thematic program priorities for the Sub-Office. S/he will also be accountable for the administration and management of the relevant Sub-Office.
Project reporting
This role reports to the Chief of Mission (CoM)
Key competencies Education:
– Master’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Development Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience. OR
– University Degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.

Experience:
– Field experience in management, humanitarian, development & other migration related activities, complex project implementation, liaison with governments & international agencies.
– Experience in administrative & financial management, budget monitoring, cash management & internal control procedures, knowledge of UN finance, procurement & HR procedures & rules a distinct advantage.
– Experience providing direct assistance with refugees, IDPs & other beneficiaries.
– Experience in working within the UN-led cluster system.
– Excellent leadership, coordination & information management skill.;
– Previous sub-office and program management experience is an advantage.
– Good level of computer literacy.
– Familiarity with the region is an asset.

Languages:
– Fluency in English is required.
– Working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
