Position Summary:
The Department of Global Interdisciplinary Studies, Villanova University, invites applications for the position of Visiting Instructor of Arabic Language (full time, non-tenure track) to teach undergraduate courses for one academic year beginning in Fall 2021.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in teaching, be able to teach Arabic language courses at beginner to upper levels, and sufficiently integrate Arab culture into their language instruction. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the Arabic Language and Cultural Studies program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English is required. The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in pertinent area in hand.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidate with specialization in both Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine Arabic. Experience teaching Colloquial Arabic is a plus.
