Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and experienced Saudi National Project Manager to join our dynamic Project and Development Services team in Riyadh. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the progress and coordination of a package or individual project.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development of the client brief and Project Execution Plans:

• Understand and adapt the client requirements to develop suitable project plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are aligned.

Deliver full design management:

• Manage design teams to develop design solutions that meet client expectations and budget.
• Ensure adherence to design quality standards.

Manage local government approvals process:

• Coordinate and handle necessary approvals from local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Administer complex building contracts:

• Proactively manage and confirm contractor and consultant compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Mitigate risks and resolve contract-related issues.

Assist in the tendering process:

• Contribute to compiling tender documents.
• Critically review tender returns, facilitate contract negotiations, and oversee contract award.
• Provide relevant reports and updates to clients.

Adhere to project documentation, programs, and budgets:

• Ensure compliance with project documentation, master budgets, and established timelines.
• Facilitate progress reports and updates to stakeholders.

Deliver projects with emphasis on risk, sustainability, and quality:

• Ensure adherence to agreed-upon risk management, sustainability, and environmental considerations.
• Focus on delivering projects within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.

Monitor contractor’s progress and compliance:

• Regularly track and report on the contractor’s progress against the contract program.
• Manage consultant teams to ensure the contractor’s design and final product are compliant with the contract.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams:

• Support team members across disciplines and division as required.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the project team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Saudi national with At least 10 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in project management for the construction or engineering industry.
• Minimum 10 years of academic and relevant industry experience (engineering/construction) combined.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Major international project experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a fluent proficiency in English.
