Forklift Operator

TITLE: FORKLIFT OPERATOR REPORTS TO: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Purpose: 

• As part of the operation logistics, being 

responsible to conduct operations of the forklift as per the safety standards set by the organization 

Summary of the Job Role: 

• Operate the forklift as per daily tasks
• Carry materials/ products from one 

assigned plant/ department to other 

Authorities: Financial

Operational

Key Deliverables: 

• Attend the HSE safety meeting with the supervisors 
• Conduct daily maintenance check for the forklift 
• Follow safety protocol and procedures before operating the forklift 
• Receive the daily tasks from the supervisor 
• Ensure drums are aligned while storing 
• Support stores with any uploading or downloading of drums whenever 

required 

Relationships (Internal): Logistics, Stores Relationships (External):

Qualifications: 

• Secondary School 
• Licensed forklift operator 

Skills/Knowledge: 

• Good Physical fitness 

Experience: 

• 2 years’ experience as a forklift driver
