Primary Function

The Operations Coordinator/Arab Linguist controls, monitors, documents event execution under the program life cycle and supports the PMO Operations Manager and Deputy Project Manager to ensure satisfactory completion of program objectives and provide independent translator/interpreter services during executive exchanges with the Host Nation Government and Military Officials. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities

Assists the Senior and Lead Operations Coordinators with operational and administrative support

Compiles and prepares daily, weekly, monthly and as needed reports both company internal as well as the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)

Develops and improves reporting processes based on best practices and lessons learned

Assists with Crisis Management Actions (CMAT), Contract-wide Personnel Accountability and Non-Combatant Evacuation Coordination (NEO).

Prepares and sends base wide notification and updates to company, USG and SAT-Client personnel

Provide independent translator/interpreter services during executive exchanges with the Host Nation Government and Military officials

Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Five (5) years of experience in DOD and/or civilian operations management environments are required

FMS/LOGCAP/Military management experience is required

Full understanding of information/operations center functions highly desirable

Confidentiality and trustworthiness while working with Proprietary and Confidential information a must

High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of university study or its equivalent highly desired

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must possess a verified minimum level three (3) Arab language proficiency (obtained through DOD, DOS or verified civilian education institution)

Ability to read, write and translate written Arab language documents

Must possess a level three (3) English proficiency

Verified experience with overseas contracts or international private business

Preferred Qualifications

Kurdish language ability – highly desirable

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organization skills

Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously

Strong initiative

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
