Position Summary:
Update African Studies Program website and enhance the present website as a standalone website with its own URL as per McGill criteria and guidelines. Update the faculty profiles, contact information, course list offerings, graphics and make the site a high-end website.
Re search the faculty teaching on Africa, compile the course list of Africa related courses offered, making sure the course requirements are clear. Create a special link for special events, talks and workshops, and links to the African Studies Association and MAAS student groups, including their Facebook and twitter accounts. Establish a place for the McGill AfricaListServe.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
English and French; Swahili and Arabic languages are assets
