This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pre-opening team. The Lady in Red/Gentleman in Red is an iconic symbol of Kempinski and is in essence the Hotel Ambassador. As an extended arm of the General Manager she/he welcomes, meets and farewells visitors and guests and is responsible for the communication with all visitors and guests providing highest quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication of hotel & company philosophy and internal hotel representation.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and residences as well as the geographical layout of the city/surroundings.
  • Knowledgeable about all VIPs in-house.
  • Welcome, facilitate and bid farewell to visitors and guests; assist with general information.
  • Liaise with the General Manager to prepare tailor made guest itinerary for Top VIP’s when appropriate and coordinate VIP greetings and departures.
  • Handle guest requests in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Perform special projects and related duties as assigned.
  • Attend & participate in daily briefings as scheduled.
  • Report potential and existing hazards and rectified immediately.
  • Provide information to visitors and guests regarding services offered.
  • Participate in training programs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial position in Front Office or Guest Relations preferably in an international five star hotel
  • Food & Beverage and Sales experience is a plus
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Supervisory Skills
  • Luxury Hotel Experience
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and computer systems
  • Knowledge of VIP welcoming protocol
