Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic Cuisine to join our culinary team in NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting authentic Arabic dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in taste and presentation
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and coordinating with other sections
  • Develop and refine recipes, contributing to menu planning and seasonal updates
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in your designated area
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and workstations, keeping them clean and organized
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and inventory management
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cooking techniques and kitchen protocols
  • Collaborate with the team to create innovative Arabic-inspired dishes while respecting traditional flavors
  • Participate in menu tastings and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Adapt to fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently during service hours

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in high-volume or fine dining restaurants
  • Extensive knowledge of Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisines, including regional variations and specialties
  • Proficiency in Arabic cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and use of traditional ingredients
  • Strong knife skills and expertise in operating various kitchen equipment
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, with current HACCP certification
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior staff
  • Creativity and passion for developing innovative Arabic-inspired dishes
  • Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and working in a hot kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
