Finance Administrator

The Finance Administrator supports the Finance Department by ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with hotel policies and procedures. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity, assisting with reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations within the hotel.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Process daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities
• Verify and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
• Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely disbursements
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and liaise with clients when necessary
• Maintain vendor and customer account records
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
• Monitor expenses and highlight discrepancies
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare financial summaries and reports for management
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing and financial queries
• Input and manage financial data in accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, or similar)
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial platforms
• Support improvements in financial processes and procedures

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in hospitality
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Familiarity with hotel financial systems is an advantage
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
