The Finance Administrator supports the Finance Department by ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with hotel policies and procedures. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity, assisting with reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations within the hotel.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Process daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities
- Verify and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
- Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely disbursements
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and liaise with clients when necessary
- Maintain vendor and customer account records
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Monitor expenses and highlight discrepancies
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare financial summaries and reports for management
- Coordinate with other departments regarding billing and financial queries
- Input and manage financial data in accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, or similar)
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial platforms
- Support improvements in financial processes and procedures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in hospitality
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Familiarity with hotel financial systems is an advantage
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
