Purpose
We have made significant investment in our growth strategy, resulting in a substantial and expanding new business pipeline. As such, we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager with strong project management capability to support and drive this growth.
As part of a developing bid management function, you will lead and support a wide range of activities including new business pursuits, defensive retentions, and strategic reviews. The role supports our MENA business and requires close collaboration with international offices, coordinating specialist input across areas such as placement, claims, risk management, and client services.
You will also work closely with the design function to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, client-ready materials.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of the RfP process from publication through to submission
- Interpretation of RfP requirements and definition of response strategy, timelines, and deliverables
- Clear allocation of roles and responsibilities across the response team
- Production of high-quality, compliant submissions with clear messaging and differentiated positioning
- Coordination across business units and senior stakeholders throughout the RfP lifecycle
- Close collaboration with SMEs and the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, client-ready documents, including oversight and contribution to production (e.g. Adobe InDesign where required)
- Ensuring all RfP responses meet internal governance and compliance standards
- Supporting pitch teams with messaging, materials, and rehearsal preparation
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of the content library and reusable assets
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ bid management experience, ideally within insurance broking or financial services
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and functional teams
- Ability to operate under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational capability
- Proven ability to deliver against deadlines without compromising quality
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign or similar tools is advantageous
