Ntrepid is looking for an Intelligence Analyst to carry out various analyticial tasks for a government customers. These tasks will include desk research, open-source data collection and analysis, and the use of in-house software and tools. Our ideal candidate will be required to have up-to-date knowledge of geopolitical issues as well as technological developments especially as they pertain to social media, social network analysis, predictive analytics, and agent-based modeling. You will also be expected to have and develop strong writing, research, analysis, and communication skills, as well as be required to conduct in-depth research in multiple languages.
Responsibilities:
Conduct independent, detailed, Open-Source research and analysis on client-driven initiatives and topics
Maintain expertise with social media platforms and data from social networking sites
Develop well-organized and thoroughly researched written products
Brief supervisor(s) on findings and reports
Attend topical or industry conferences as required
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree or equivalency.
1-3 years‘ experience in research and data analysis
Ability to quickly gain expertise on a new topic
Ability to work under own direction and show initiative, ideas and creativity
Ability to master the products and methodologies that are used to create client deliverables
Foreign language proficiency: French or French/Arabic
Must be local to the DC/NOVA Metro Area (DMV)
