Title:
Community Liaison Officer (CLO)
- The CLO is responsible for building and sustaining working and trusting relationships between the CSSP-WIP Project and local communities.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in the field of Community Relations;
- High level of interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Empathetic towards sensitive cultural, personal and community issues;
- Mediation and conflict resolution skills;
- Knowledge of local language;
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision;
- Able to dialog, disclose information, negotiate;
- Understanding of the economic, political and social dynamics in the area of operation;
- Good reporting skills;
- Diligent and meticulous.
