Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads and HR team to identify training needs for new and existing staff.
  • Design and develop training programs, workshops, and materials tailored to meet organizational objectives and employee development goals.
  • Deliver training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as classroom training, online modules, and workshops.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and other metrics.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and training consultants as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Maintain L&D matrix (identify mandatory, optional, and not required training courses) for every individual in the organization.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements for staff training and competence and ensure that all requirements and subsequent changes are reflected in all statutory and mandatory training.
  • Contribute to L&D communications, queries from the staff, coordinate for training booking and enrollment.
  • Liaise with university representatives to facilitate the selection, and placement of students into cooperative programs.
  • Act as focal point of contact for L&D requirements from the region related to the offered courses.

You bring (qualifications & experience)

  • At least Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, or Business Management.
  • 1 – 3 years of Learning and Development responsibilities
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a group.
  • Strong ability and willingness to learn from experience, adapt and embrace new situations;
  • Being open to new experiences, people and information;
  • Desire to excel and grow new skills.
  • Attune and confidently acts to employment needs, adding value and build strong relationships.
  • Take responsibility for delivering on intended outcomes;
  • A role model for creativity, develops new ideas, approaches and insights to alternative ways of working, adding value to the business and to it’s future development.
  • Engages others and treats them with respect.
