Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Civil/Structural Engineering. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, technical expertise in civil and structural engineering, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution phases of the project while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables to align with client requirements.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Delegate tasks, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, address skill gaps, and promote professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee the conceptualization, design, and optimization of civil and structural engineering solutions.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Implement robust quality assurance processes to monitor project performance and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to identify and address deviations from standards.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to rectify issues and mitigate risks in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and dependencies associated with the project and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership role and a minimum 5yrs+ experience in GCC
  • Infrastructure and utility building design management/technical experience..
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Manage contractor, designer and CS consultant to ensure quality of deliverables in compliance with master plan and KSA standards.
  • Strong technical proficiency in structural analysis, design software, and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
