Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Civil/Structural Engineering. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, technical expertise in civil and structural engineering, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution phases of the project while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables to align with client requirements.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Delegate tasks, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, address skill gaps, and promote professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the conceptualization, design, and optimization of civil and structural engineering solutions.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to monitor project performance and deliverables.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to identify and address deviations from standards.
- Work closely with quality control teams to rectify issues and mitigate risks in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and dependencies associated with the project and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership role and a minimum 5yrs+ experience in GCC
- Infrastructure and utility building design management/technical experience..
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Manage contractor, designer and CS consultant to ensure quality of deliverables in compliance with master plan and KSA standards.
- Strong technical proficiency in structural analysis, design software, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
