Military Advisor Analyst 3 in Doha, Qatar

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring fora Military Advisor Analyst 3to fulfill the Watch Officer (WO) position supporting a dynamic customer. This position will be located in Doha, Qatar and will bean onsite position.

Responsibilities

Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making or resource allocation. Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic process engagements. Performs analysis, requirements development, defines problems, develops and recommends solutions, conducts evaluations, performs analytical work in support of systems and or organizations, and possesses specialized knowledge and expertise in the designated area.

• Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.

• Proposes innovative approaches to technical problems; drafts statements of work; develops requirements documents and concept of operations documents; develops operations manuals; conducts site surveys, and writes after action reports.

• Participates in meetings and telephone conferences with customers; writes meetings summaries, progress reports, and position papers.

• Prepares briefings and reports; conducts presentations; conducts analysis; develops work plans, schedules, and budget estimates; attends conferences and exchanges technical data, and provides general scientific, engineering and technical assistance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s with 5 – 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Possess verbal and written communication skills must be above average – excellent zone.

• Personable; must be able to communicate from the Junior System Administrator to Task Force Commander level.

• Possess the ability to triage any situation that may arise while providing 24/7 network support and monitoring.

• Understand the escalation process such as Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) and incident tracking.

• Basic understanding of SharePoint, various software programs, and Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI).

• Basic understanding of circuits, Wide Area Networks (WAN) and DoD ticketing systems.

• Ability to grasp organizational structures.

• Ability to direct, assess and evaluate priorities based on situational awareness.

• Incident management experience in an Enterprise IT operations environment.

• Experience supporting DoD communications in an Enterprise environment.

• Must possess and maintain a current TS/SCI

• DoD 8570 Sec+ required

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• 8 years of experience working with CMD Communications Infrastructure

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 – USD $87,000.00 /Yr.
