We are looking for a Principal Fusion Middleware Architect who will be responsible of providing consultancy, working with customers, translating ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs, also have experience in providing technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards either on-site or remotely.

As integral part of a global Organization, the Principal Fusion Middleware integration architect will be working within an international environment with colleagues around the globe and contribute to global technology driven initiatives or innovation programs for continuous service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle Fusion Middleware modernisation projects, playing a direct role in the upgrade, maintenance, technical support, performance tuning, and administration services for Oracle SOA/BPM Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS), and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)

  • Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle SOA Suite 12C, Oracle Service Bus (OSB) 12C and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen 2/3.

  • Implement integration solutions between Oracle Cloud products (ERP, HCM, etc.) and third-party applications such as CRM Sales Force, DMS, and SAP ERP.

  • Develop integration flows utilizing REST/SOAP services, file integrations, and various integration patterns.

  • Create and manage APIs using Open API standards, ensuring secure connections via API Gateway in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Expertise in API specifications, including integration of REST and SOAP APIs with third-party systems and Oracle Cloud solutions.

  • Develop HLD/LLD for integration projects, ensuring comprehensive documentation and clear technical specifications.

  • Implement Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Oracle Integration Cloud, ensuring high availability and business continuity.

  • Configure OCI services, including IAM, Functions, and Autonomous Database, and integrate with OIC and third-party systems.

  • Develop integrations with OCI Logging Analytics for monitoring and performance analysis of integration flows.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA/OSB & OIC for building integration flows, working with File Server, and implementing various integration patterns (request/response, event-driven, etc.).

  • Expertise in configuring OIC to handle transformation and orchestration of interfaces between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud.

  • Expertise in integrating Oracle and non Oracle applications.

  • Advanced knowledge of XSLT, SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix scripting for data transformation, integration, and automation within Oracle Integration Cloud.

  • Proficient in supporting custom applications using VBCS and creating workflows with PCS to streamline business processes.

  • Strong understanding of Open API specifications, REST and SOAP APIs, and securing APIs via OCI API Gateway.

  • Experience with OCI terminology and integration of OCI services with Oracle Cloud applications and third-party systems.

  • Experience with Oracle Logging Analytics

  • Proficiency in REST, SOAP, WSDL, WADL, and Swagger for API integration and web services development.

  • Strong expertise in API management and securing APIs using OCI API Gateway.

  • Experience with JavaScript to develop custom functions in OIC for enhanced application functionality.

  • Expertise in XML, WSDL, and other data exchange formats used for integrating Oracle Cloud with third-party systems and applications.

Professional Expertise:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in SOA and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with strong expertise in configuring SOA/OIC to handle transformations, orchestrations, and integrations between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud.

  • Proven experience in Oracle Integration Cloud development and delivery, with sound knowledge of the technology and at least 10 years of experience in building and delivering solutions from scratch.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with stakeholders to solve business needs.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Collaborate with product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements, work on user stories/backlog items, and ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Ability to keep track of schedules and ensure on-time delivery of assigned tasks, optimizing pace and meeting deadlines.

  • Participate in standup meetings and provide progress updates regularly.

  • Experience in Oracle WebCenter Portal, WebCenter Sites, Content management, Oracle Identity & Access Management, OAS and ODI is a plus
