Responsibilities:
- Follows the personal hygiene, freshness, well-groomed and always maintain cleanliness specially using deodorant and mouthwash at the beginning and during the duty.
- Acts promptly and professionally on guest needs.
- Displays good teamwork towards his colleagues
- Maintains the Maximum Operating Standards and the Rosewood Standards.
- To sell our guest rooms the highest possible occupancy at the maximum achievable rate.
- To promote all hotel restaurants to assist in achievement of the revenue goals set by the hotel management.
- To up sell to every guest at every sales opportunity the products of Rosewood hotel
- Ensure that personal product knowledge is maintained to the highest level so that the guest receives a professional, competent, and consistent service
- Cooperates with all departments in the hotel for room reservations
- To assist the revenue team in achieving their set revenue and customer service goals as set by the revenue manager
- Abides to the daily tasks list and ensures the timely implementation of each action; this list will be set and agreed upon with the Reservation Manager or his assistant in his absence.
- Handles the individual guest reservation in a professional manner and obtains all required guest profile details. As per the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
- Handles all reservations for rooms, in a professional manner and at all times seeks opportunities to up sell to those guests
- Assist the revenue secretary in confirming ALL reservations if required
- Handles group reservations in accordance SOP guidelines
- Books the limousine service and ensure the availability as required
- Cancels all nonguaranteed bookings by 3 pm one day before arrival during high season and informs the front office.
- Records the daily statistics as per departmental policy
- Rechecks the next day’s arrivals with the reservation papers in order to update all guest requirements.
- Coordinates with the accounting department regarding credit letters and 3rd parties and strictly adheres to the hotel policies.
- Briefs the Reservation Manager or his deputy on special bookings received during his shift.
- Be fully aware of all the hotel promotions and sell to the best of your trained ability.
- Develops positive relationships with all regular guests
- Ensures that all reservations are completed and booked as per the departmental policies,
- Coordinates effectively and timely with all other departments
- Carries out other duties that may from time to time be assigned to him by his superiors
