Caregiver Duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, mouth care, skin care etc.
Assisting clients with homemaking such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, linen changes etc.
Assisting clients with meal preparation and feeding
Assisting clients under the Medicaid IHSS waiver with tasks such as transfers, medication administration, medication box setup, monitoring vitals etc.
Tracking of tasks completed and hours worked on provided timesheets. Timesheets must be turned in to the agency weekly.
**Bilingual English/Spanish and English/Arabic are a plus**
Qualifications:
Must be willing to learn and be committed to the care/wellness of clients in their home
Must be a team player with an attention to detail that will assist you in your daily shifts
Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
Must have the ability to pass a background check at the time of hire and annually after.
Previous caregiver experience not required but preferred.
Accurately track your completed tasks and times worked on provided timesheets.
Must have great communication and respond to the agency in a timely manner. Must understand what to report to the agency and when.
- Note- We are a non-medical home care agency that provides in home care to clients on the Medicaid HCBS and IHSS waivers. While you do not need to be a CNA to provide care under these waivers, we would prefer CNA experience for our IHSS clients. Do not let this deter you from applying as we are able to train non-CNA caregivers to do the tasks approved under the IHSS waiver.
Experience:
In home caregiving 1+years (preferred but not required)
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required)
Bilingual in English/Arabic (preferred but not required)
