Additional Key Elements/ Responsibilities:
Provide information & assistance to individuals from all nationalities seeking resources via phone & e-mail. This includes: assessing, clarifying & determining needs of each caller; based on needs identified, provide caller with community resources, agency services & disability info as needed; problem solve & think creatively as resources are limited; write up assessment summary & plan for each caller in Call Sheet records.
Assist with updating & maintaining Pathfinder website: research disability topics & new community services as needed; assist website/database coordinator with database management; post disability-related activities to Pathfinder’s website calendar; provide resource materials & links to online training modules in Spanish.
Educational Parent Trainings: assist in coordinating trainings for Spanish-speaking parents of children with disabilities; work collaboratively with TRIAD & other programs to promote the inclusion of culturally diverse families in training opportunities.
Community Engagement & Training: participate in community events/resource fairs to network, identify clients and/or services and/or disseminate information; provide training presentations at various local, regional and statewide meetings/conferences; manage Tennessee Disability Pathfinder en espanol Facebook page; assist with marketing activities through the use of TV, radio & printed media to promote Multicultural Program around the state.
Work collaboratively with staff in the immediate office & other Vanderbilt Kennedy Center programs: link families to VKC clinics & serve as liaison to the community; assist with liaison connections to the community for families evaluated in other Vanderbilt specialty clinics; assist with translating materials as needed.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and < 1 year relevant experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Arabic, or Kurdish/Farsi
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):
