LOGCAP – Asset Management/Logistics (OCN)

Louis Berger Services is currently looking for an Asset Management/Logistics Coordinator to manage all aspects of the LOGCAP V site’s bulk and retail fuels program.

All candidates must pass a background and drug screen.

  • Create and maintain Asset management plans in accordance with the clients processes and procedures as well as in co-ordination with program staff.
  • Work with Supply Chain management to ensure AM and Asset requirements are captured clearly, accurately and concisely within contracts.
  • Organize, plan and track hardware/ software assets on a day-to-day basis to meet contract requirements
  • Interface with the Change Control process to raise, submit and progress Change Proposals (CPs) and Requests (CRs) for contracted asset requirements, and provide impact assessment for AM / PC related impact for CRs raised by others etc.
  • Work with the Supply Chain management, Security, Freight and Trade Compliance to ensure the clients Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) accreditation is adhered to.
  • Maintain Asset tracking databases, processes and tools for hardware and software assets, to ensure fully accountable and auditable records are kept.
  • Arrange assets in accordance with contract requirements, the clients processes and procedures.
  • Enable the identification and management of hardware assets by applying labels / unique marking of assets for monitoring and tracking purposes
  • Work with other functions of the business as necessary to ensure the required Configuration and Quality of assets (including documentation) is delivered at the right time and location to satisfy contract and business requirements.
  • Arrange / support Loan requests as required in accordance with loan processes
  • Process equipment upgrades, repairs and maintenance, such as calibration etc.
  • Proactively process redundant assets for disposition in accordance with process as required
  • Work with program management and other departments to maximize asset usage and cost savings
  • Provide Asset Management status of assets to Management,
  • Support Internal and External audits as required
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities that may affect Asset Management and determine mitigation strategies to reduce the level of risk.
  • Support new business-related proposal activities requiring Asset Management input
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing development of Asset Management tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness to meet ongoing business needs.

  • A thorough understanding of Asset Management principles
  • Microsoft Office© applications (Word and Excel) as well as general IT skills are essential.
  • Understanding and experience of using databases
  • Able to integrate into high pressure commercial environment
  • Asset management experience in an IT environment that covers both IT Hardware and Software (e.g. licences)
  • Administrative and record taking skills

Knowledge & Skills
• Must have a working knowledge of personal computers, i.e. Windows, Word, Excel and Access.
• Experience supervising an international workforce is desired.
• Must possess a valid local driver’s license.

Experience & Education
• High school diploma and Military Technical School.
• Works in normal office environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
