Therapist-Access Coordinator OSPP (FT)

The Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program consists of a network of organizations working together to provide individuals who are experiencing depression and/or anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive concerns and post-traumatic stress) with access to cognitive behavioural therapy services.These roles will support the OSP intake, assessment and triage process for the communities of Mississauga, Halton, Brampton and Bramalea which is managed by Waypoint in partnership with CarePoint Health, the Network Lead Organization. The key role is to conduct clinical assessments and deliver structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people living in the communities of Mississauga, Halton, Brampton and Bramalea.

Key Accountabilities:
Perform clinical assessment and triage for clients seeking OSP services across the stepped care pathway and system navigation with other available services

Conduct assessments (e.g., Diagnostic Assessment Research Tool, PHQ-9, GAD-7 and other diagnostic specific assessments) to identify symptoms experienced by clients and inform individualized treatment plans

Provide evidence-based CBT to individuals and groups, in adherence with the OSP Clinical Model and Training guidelines. Provide triage, clinical assessment and treatment remotely and in person based on client and program needs

Collaborate with team members at CarePoint Health and across OSP’s network of organizations in the provision of care

Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be registered in the province of Ontario as a member in good standing with an appropriate regulatory college and eligible to perform psychotherapy as a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse

Masters degree preferred

A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in triage and clinical assessment, and delivery of evidence-based CBT following the OSP clinical protocols strongly preferred

Preference for formal CBT training in the structured clinical protocols used in the OSP model

Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Experience with computer software to generate correspondence and input data for a variety of hospital and program-specific tools

Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation), and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude

Preference for proficiency in a second language (Arabic, Chinese, Urdu, Punjabi, French, Polish, Spanish)

Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds is strongly preferred
