Job Description:
This position provides administrative support and assistance to the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs (SPSIA) and to the Kurdish Political Studies Program (KPSP). Performs administrative and clerical functions in various capacities. Duties include preparing documents and reports, assisting with event planning/implementation, organizing and maintaining information, processing travel, and approving Pcard purchases.

Office Administration

Supports human resources and fiscal functions

Coordinates meeting spaces and arrangements

Ensures administrative and procedural processes are upheld

Addresses administrative and procedural issues as needed

Monitors and tracks expense transactions, at times against a stated budget

Assists with routine human resources activities (i.e., new employee orientation, maintenance of personnel files)

Manages and organizes accounts and budgets through Excel and Peoplesoft

Coordinates travel arrangements and/or events and special administrative projects

Communication Development and Production

Prepares correspondence and communication materials

Uses word and data processing software to complete necessary correspondences,

database entries, and reports

20 hours per week between 8 AM-5 PM

$12 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with UCF Financials

Excel and Microsoft Suite

Zoom and other virtual platforms
