Registration of Vendors in IOM Iraq System-
Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI)
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society. IOM – The UN Migration Agency, has been operating in Iraq since 2003. IOM supports the government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government in response to migration and displacement challenges in the country; addressing humanitarian needs, supporting reintegration and durable solutions for displaced persons, revitalizing and stabilizing communities, and strengthening migration management capacities.
IOM Iraq office seeks to update the existing vendor list, identify new vendors, suppliers, and service providers in Iraq and, therefore invites them to express their interest to be included and registered in IOM Iraq online system and procurement roster.
The purpose of this request for Expression of Interest (EOI) is to identify suppliers and service providers with proven technical and financial capacity. IOM shall evaluate all online registration applications and notify qualified vendors of their acceptance in IOM procurement roster and then all eligible vendors will be invited automatically to participate in IOM’s competitive process in future tenders.
If you are a vendor who is registered already in IOM procurement system currently; IOM should give you a window until end of 2019 to register in the new online procurement roster. Vendors who are registered in the current online procurement roster should stop receiving automatic procurement notifications and requests as of the beginning of January 2020. Kindly note that registered vendors can still use the same email and user name if they wish.
EOI for Suppliers and Service Providers Operating in Iraq:
- During registration each vendor should choose one of the three levels given and which are tied to the projects’ value the vendor is able to participate in according to their capacity and financial resources while higher levels requires additional supporting documents.
- Each vendor are also limited to choose up to 5 Goods/Services categories maximum.
- Vendor should submit all documents that demonstrate their experience for any categories.
- Vendor must ensure that their bank account name is the same as given in their governmental registration certificate and licenses.

How to Apply for Expression of Interest (EOI) and Register in IOM Procurement System.
Companies are required to do the following:
- Visit Website on this link https://iraqportal.iom.int/
- Create an account (user name and password).
- Follow the instructions and fill in all the required and mandatory fields,
- and attach all the required documents listed in the website. Applicant can save his/her application and return back if they do not have all required documents ready using their user name and password that will be set during the registration process.
All documents must be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided by IOM. Missing information will result in the supplier’s disqualification from the selection process. Supplier should be notified about their registration activation within maximum 1 month.
IOM will not accept hard copies of any document. Incomplete or unsigned submissions will also be rejected. All responses and supporting documents will be handled with confidentiality and will not be made available to the public.
This request for EOI does not constitute solicitation. IOM reserves the right to change or cancel the process or any of its requirements at any time; all participants will be notified accordingly.
